This week we are working on the possesive. In the book this refers to Unite 3, Lecon 3. This lesson introduces the different way s of saying that things belong to people. Last semester we learned how to use "de" in order to express possession relationships.

Modeles:

Jacques a la guitare de Paul. Jacques has Paul's guitar.

Jean Paul est le frere de Sylvie. Jean-Paul is Sylvie's brother.

Now we are learning about the possesive adjective. In this lesson we learn why it is called a possesive adjective, and practice saying things belong to ourselves and our friends with the adjectives mon, ma, mes, ton, ta and tes.

Due to a temporary (we hope) shortage of textbooks, there will be limited Homework this week. We hope to solve this problem soon.
